Ukraine Ambassador’s Working Meeting with Secretary MOFA Pakistan

Islamabad; March 01,2021 – A working meeting of the Ambassador of Ukraine to Pakistan Markian Chuchuk with the state secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Sohail Mahmood held at MOFA today. The participants of the meeting summed up bilateral relations in the last year defined the agenda for the current year.

The Ambassador of Ukraine noted the successful development of trade, economic and military-technical cooperation between the two states. In particular, the total scope of trade in goods and services for 2020 totaled $ 415. 334 million that is a good deal.

 Ambassador handed over the official invitation of the President of Ukraine to the President of Pakistan to participate in the meeting of the Crimean platform and celebrating the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence.

Secretary Sohail Mahmood has confirmed Pakistan’s readiness to activate Ukrainian-Pakistani dialogue at all levels and directions: political, military, technical, trade, economic, cultural, etc.

Both sides considered the prospects for holding political consultations, the meeting of the joint Ukrainian-Pakistani Commission on Economic Cooperation and other events.
