
ISLAMABAD: Monitoring Desk – While trains in Pakistan can not be run from one city to other because of the PTI protests and Cities Blockades by the gov, in the neighborhood Afghanistan and Iran have managed to run a train across their borders.
Mustafa Rezaei, CEO of the Afghanistan Railway Development Consortium, has announced that over the past month, three freight trains have operated weekly on the Khaf-Herat railway.
According to Iranian media reports, Rezaei emphasized that the full activation of the Khaf-Herat railway has been prioritized, and many of the issues and deficiencies in this route have been addressed.
