Islamabad: 26 Aug 2024 – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Palestine views with great seriousness the threats of extremist Minister Ben Gvir to establish and build a Jewish synagogue in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and considers it a public and explicit call to demolish it and build the alleged temple in its place.
The Ministry also strongly condemns the storming of the mosque by extremist Jews and their performance of Talmudic dances and prayers in its courtyards, including the so-called epic prostration and others.
The Ministry warns of the dangers resulting from Ben Gvir’s calls as a recipe for blowing up the conflict arena and the entire region, and a deliberate sabotage of international and regional efforts made to stop the aggression and the war of extermination and displacement against our people.
The Ministry holds the Israeli government fully and directly responsible for the results of this incitement practiced by Ben Gvir and his ilk, especially the introduction of the conflict arena into a cycle of violence that is difficult to control and may never end, and calls for effective Arab, Islamic and international action to pressure the Israeli side to force it to put an end to Ben Gvir’s provocative practices, statements and positions, including imposing deterrent sanctions on extremist settler elements who promote escalation, violence and expanding the circle of conflict.

Palestine condemns in the strongest terms the racist and heinous remarks made by Israel’s fascist Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir

Palestine Foreign Ministry has said that allocating Israeli government funds to support the raids is a translation of Ben Gvir’s policy towards Al-Aqsa. The ministry has demanded  the international community assume its responsibility to stop the occupation’s encroachment on Al-Aqsa before it is too late
In a blatant challenge and disdain for Arab, Islamic and international reactions to the call launched yesterday by extremist Minister Ben Gvir, the so-called Minister of Heritage in the occupation government announced the allocation of two million shekels to support settlers’ raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque and to promote the alleged “biblical narrative” about the mosque, according to his claim.
The ministry considers that this announced support represents an official Israeli policy that is intent on Judaizing Al-Aqsa Mosque and changing its existing legal reality, and threatens to explode the situation in the West Bank and plunge it into a spiral of chaos, in a manner that coincides with what was reported in the Hebrew media regarding the expansion of the scope of the occupation’s military and bloody operations in the occupied West Bank, and it also coincides with a noticeable escalation in the attacks of terrorist settler militias, as happened recently in the villages south of Bethlehem.

The Ministry considers the allocation of Israeli government funds, announced and unannounced, to be clear evidence of the occupation government’s involvement in these attacks.
This measure is also a translation of Ben Gvir’s racist colonial policy to control the mosque, and falls within the framework of promoting the claim of equal right to prayer, but in reality it is a desecration of the holy place and a step towards Judaizing Al-Aqsa Mosque and imposing temporal division, just as the occupation is doing in the Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of Hebron.
The Ministry is following these developments at all levels and through the embassies and missions of the State of Palestine and accredited diplomatic channels to expose this conspiracy, and to mobilize the broadest international pressure on the Israeli government to stop it immediately, and force it to comply with and implement the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice.
