Art Aid and Hunerkada Launch Exhibition & Silent Auction for Flood Victims

Islamabad – ArtAid, a humanitarian initiative of the Hunerkada College of Visual and Performing Arts, launched an exhibition and silent auction at the Islamabad Art Gallery, F-9, this Wednesday to generate funds for relief and rehabilitation efforts for flood-hit regions in Pakistan.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Chairman CDA Capt. (R) Muhammad Usman Younis amid a lively turnout.

The exhibition is to be held till the 7th of October, culminating in a live auction on the 10th of October at the Serena Hotel.

Jamal Shah, Chairman Hunerkada, expressed the need for collective efforts to alleviate the torment and suffering caused by flood damages across the country.

ArtAid has been active during calamities and natural disasters in the past at the aid of citizens in Pakistan. This year, ArtAid has launched a massive aid collection effort for rehabilitation of flood affected areas in the country.
