The trilateral collaboration of Azerbaijan, Pakistan and Turkiye was seen active and stronger in the hard days of April and May as the two brotherly countries stood by Pakistan and supported the stance Pakistan took after baseless allegations of India on Pehalgam attack on 22 April 2025.
Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov . DPM/FM briefed him on the evolving regional situation.
FM Jeyhun Bayramov expressed strong solidarity and support for Pakistan in wake of India’s illegal and unprovoked attacks that violated Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He conveyed heartfelt condolences to the people of Pakistan on the loss of innocent lives.
Reaffirming strong fraternal ties between the two countries, the two leaders agreed to remain in close contact.
Earlier on 08 May 2025, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan expresses its concern over the further escalation of tension between the Republic of India and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
He condemned, in the strongest possible terms, India’s missile strikes that led to the martyrdom of 26 innocent men, women and children. He shared that India’s cowardly attack on Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity had gravely endangered peace and stability in the South Asia region, and was unacceptable.
President Erdogan shared that the Turkish Foreign Minister had spoken to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar earlier today and the two had discussed the current situation in detail.
He said that Turkiye supported de-escalation of the situation and was ready to play its role as a committed friend of Pakistan. He said that the Turkish nation was praying for the success of Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives.

Foreign Minister of Türkiye Mr. Hakan Fidan called DPM/FM Ishaq Dar to express Türkiye’s solidarity with Pakistan against India’s unprovoked aggression violating Pakistan’s sovereignty and killing innocent civilians. He expressed concern over the deteriorating regional security situation. Both leaders agreed to remain in close coordination on the evolving situation.
On 07 May 2025 , Ambassador of Türkiye called on the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to convey Türkiye’s strong solidarity with Pakistan in the wake of India’s unprovoked violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty and the tragic loss of innocent lives.
The two sides discussed regional security concerns in depth and reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close coordination and cooperation.
The three countries proved that their brotherly bonds are time tested and they stand together through thick and thin. This brotherhood can face any threat to their sovereignty and territorial integrity. There is no force on the earth that can break or even weaken this iron friendship.
