Bosnia Expresses Solidarity and Sympathy with Pakistan ! Delegation from NDU visit Sarajevo – Meets Minister Defence

Sarajevo / Bosnia : At the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Minister Zukan Helez welcomed a delegation from the National Defence University (NDU) of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The delegation was led by Brigadier General Bakhti Baidar Wali Lone of the Pakistani Armed Forces, accompanied by the Ambassador of Pakistan to Bosnia and Herzegovina, retired Major General Syed Qaiser Abbas Shah.
At the outset of the meeting, Minister Helez expressed solidarity and sympathy with the Pakistani delegation following the recent attack by India on the sovereign territory of Pakistan.
He also conveyed his gratitude to Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Nations for his address at the UN Security Council session the previous day, in which he urged firm action against the RS entity authorities for their secessionist actions and voiced strong support for Bosnia and Herzegovina and its institutions.
Minister Helez reaffirmed that the Islamic Republic of Pakistan remains a valued and steadfast partner to Bosnia and Herzegovina, consistently upholding its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national unity.
During the meeting, the Minister briefed the Pakistani delegation on the organizational structure, responsibilities, and current condition of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He highlighted the long-standing and productive partnership between the two countries, particularly in the defense industry and the training of Armed Forces personnel. Discussions also focused on identifying new avenues to deepen and expand this cooperation further.
