The blind brutal murder of Faheem Sardar, Policy expert at National Security Division of Pakistan has become more complicated as the FIR has been registered finally at PS Abpara but not from his wife but from his maternal uncle on 28 June after three days since his dead body was found on 25 June 2025 at 12-30 noon according to the statement.
Faheem Sardar was son of Brigadier R Sardar Ahmad while the FIR has been registered from the brother of his mother, Zakir Habib Khan. Here another mystery surfaces that why his own family, neither wife nor his brother have registered the FIR.
Faheem Sardar’s wife Faeza Khan is graduate from Qauid e Azam University. Her mother was principal at IMCG at F-6 Islamabad. Earlier it was shared that she is in shock and that is why she is not in a position to file an FIR soon after the murder. The wife is said to be out of home at the time of murder and when she came back , she found him tied and badly injured.
The victim of blind mysterious murder was living in G-6/4 sector in house # 64 at Begam Sarfraz Iqbal Road. This area is central in the capital but after evening , mostly no public movement is seen here.
Zakir Habib has reported to Police that her niece Eram Nadeem called him at 12-30 noon that Faheem is lying in his bed room and he is severely injured.
As mentioned by Zakir, he reached there along with two persons Gulbahar Abbasi and Malik Ibrar Ahmad. They found Faheem tied with ropes on his bed and badly injured and unconscious.
He called Rescue 1122 and 15 who reached the spot and declared Faheem dead. ASI Abpara Tariq Mehmood has reported that when he reached to the spot , Faheem was found , hand and feet tied with rope and deep injuries of sharp weapon on the body.
Qul prayers for Faheem were offered on the same date 28 June at the residence of his father Brig R Sardar in street 60 of I-8/3 sector where former Chairman FBR Abdullah Yousuf and Lt Gen R Nadeem Ahmad, former Chairman ERRA, NDMA were also present.
Faheem’s brother and other family members were receiving the guest and some security arrangement was also seen there. Faheem’s brother had his own arrangement for security separately.
This scribe learnt from a trustworthy source that Faheem’s body had more than 20 injuries by a sharp iron instrument (Chaini) used by the mesons to break the stone or wall by hitting it with hammer.
This is the whole follow up that has nothing new except that FIR has been registered. It has given rise to more questions that need answer to move forward in the investigations.
1- Where was the family of Faheem (Wife and children) on 25 June noon? They were not at home. Where were they?
2- Why the wife or brother could not register the FIR? and why the Uncle has to come forward?
3- It was robbery or not robbery? Why it is not cleared by the family or the police?
4- Some precious things are missing from the scene or not? if not, it means the case is not routine crime.
5- Who is Eram Nadeem? how did she come to know about the worst condition of Faheem? She was at his home or someone other informed her? Who is that person?
6- The motive is the most mysterious point in this case ! He had no enmity and he was not working against anyone. Who can kill such gentleman? and in this brutal way?
Some other basic questions have already been raised in the first report published on 26 June 2025. SSP Operations Mohammad Shoaib Khan and SSP Investigation Usman Butt have been assigned the case. Some samples have been sent for Forensic to Lahore but no proper evidence could be found from the scene that can make it clear , it is robbery attempt or a planned murder.
One thing is clear ! the murderers knew that Faheem is alone at home ! his family is not there ! May be they were regularly watching the home !
The two SSP’s can investigate the case as “possibly” anti state operation in the capital of the state.
Here it is strange thing that he was close friend of many renown anchor persons and used to appear in their programs but no one has aired a single program on his mysterious murder nor any of them has raised any question on his sad end. Otherwise, the same anchor persons make the mountain of a mole hill……….
