Karachi ; 14 Sep 2020 – 53 years old Kazakh woman strangulated to death in Clifton area of Police Station Boat Basin Karachi. Earlier doctors of Jinnah Hospital declared it suicide but Police were not satisfied.
Dead body of woman named Sewat wife of Farooq was brought to the hospital last week for medico legal. The doctor noted in first postmortem report that it is suicide. On the other hand Police had found different signs and evidences from the spot that led them to suspicion of murder.
Police requested for second postmortem for which medical board was shaped that proved the apprehensions of the Police that it was murder. She was strangulated to death and before that tortured as well. The woman had head injuries also.
A case has been registered and investigation has been started. No further details have been issued so far.
