Islamabad: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appointed a new chairman of the International Information Committee. Jan Serzhanuly Galiyev has been appointed chairman of the International Information Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He was born in December 1972. In 1994 the Kazakh University of International Relations and World Languages; in 1996 the Institute of International Relations under the “Bolashak” program (Strasbourg city. , France); in 1998 the Institute of International Public Administration was under the Prime Minister of France (Paris). ), Institute of Human Rights (Strasbourg city. ), International Law Academy (Gaaga city. , Netherlands); in 2006 graduated from the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He started his career as a correspondent-analyst at the National High School of Public Administration near the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From 1999, worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a Reference, Third Secretary, Second Secretary of the Department of Bilateral Cooperation; from 2001 to 2005 was the Second Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in France, after that the Ministry of Foreign affairs of the Republic of Croatia in Europe and Am Erika was appointed as the head of the European Department. Later, he worked as an Advisor-Deputy in the embassies of the Republic of Belgium and France, as well as the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Special Tasks.
Before his appointment as Chairman of the International Information Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 2017-2022, he was the Ambassador of Emergency and Plenipotentiary to France and Monaco, and the Permanent Representative to UNESCO.
In December 2021. He was awarded the Order of Honor. He has a diplomatic degree in Emergency and Plenipotentiary. He has mastered French and English.
