Bad sey Badnaam Bura is Urdu saying that means notorious is worse than the sinful. It means you are worse if you have bad reputation even if you do not do anything wrong. Same phenomenon is at its peak in Pakistan regarding the security agencies. Few days ago former Prime Minister AJK Sardar Tanvir Ilyas shared that incumbent PM AJK is shifting responsibility of every failure towards Abpara and Rawalpindi that they are not allowing me to do this and that. Similarly the Chairman and Chief Executive mentioned it in their press conference about the “Operation Demolition” conducted by Rawalpindi administration at their housing scheme The Blue World.
Chairman and Chief Executive of Blue World City Saad Nazir and Chaudhray Naeem Ejaz have appealed to Prime Minister and Army Chief of Pakistan to save their legal housing society from the black mailing of Commissioner Rawalpindi. They said the high official of the administration is using the names of sensitive institutions to raise extortion from our society.And for that the administration personnel are using the names of sensitive national Security agencies.
They said this in a crowded press conference at National Press Club Islamabad on 03 Oct 2023. A big number of journalists were present to cover the press conference that was rare in terms that no other housing society has ever took the media into confidence about their legal status and about what persecution they are facing at the hands of the administration.
Office bearers of Realtors Association of Pakistan and a large number of real estate business community people were also present in and outside of the press club expressing their solidarity with Blue World. It was also a demonstration of how many people’s interests are attached with the society.
” When the personnel came to destroy our construction, we asked whose order is this? The personnel replied to ask his senior, when we asked his senior , he said ask that officer, that officer turned the question towards assistant commissioner, he shifted the question to SP and lastly we got the answer ” It is order from Abpara”, said Saad Nazir.
Saad Nazir and Naeem Ejaz concerned authorities should take notice of misusing the name of their respected and sensitive agencies by the administration of Rawalpindi that is totally biased against our society. They called attention of the authorities towards the assets of Commissioner and demanded an inquiry about what is his money trail.
They said that Rawalpindi administration claims that we do not have NOC. The administration is telling lies. The administration issued Blue World 2 NOCs so far in previous years. Rawalpindi Administration should see the record. They said the blue world is not a new society. We have more than 200 thousand kanals of land. This is total wrong that we have sold 10 thousand or more files and we do not have land. We have four fold land than the sold files. We are developing it.
About the safety of investments in the society, they said we can give the registries to the plot holders and continue development on the plots on our own and no law stops us from doing this.They said that if the administration is not stopped from persecuting us , we will decide about the next strategy to face the challenge and protect our investors.
They presented the court orders in the press conference in which the court has allowed them to continue development on the site. They also said that we have developed a dry land into a society that is near to the standard of Dubai. This land is not green. They proved it with the help of slides on the multi media.
Saad Nazir and Naeem Ejaz said that the politics has nothing to do with the actions against us. It is only to raise money and Commissioner of Rawalpindi administration is known for doing this type of tactics. They appealed to care taker prime minister and military leadership to give them justice so that they can proceed to play their role in strengthening the economy of the country.
Saad Nazir harshly criticized the leaders of PTI for pressurizing them for hefty amounts. They included CM Usman Buzdar, Zulfi Bukhari, his father, Shehzad Akbar the advisor of accountability to Prime Minister Imran Khan, Tariq Murtaza Chairman Rawalpindi Development Authority, Amir Kiani and Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi MPA. He said that Zulfi’s father demanded 40 Million rupees to let Ertughul Hero come to Pakistan and later he stopped him. Shehzad Akbar was behind all cases against Blue World. Now he himself is absconder.Usman Buzdar’s team demanded 280 Million Rupees for NOC and approval of our documents.
Saad Nazir appreciated the role of incumbent CM Punjab for doing fine job in the province for development. He said CM Punjab has no issue with our society.
Here it is worth mentioning that most of the investors in Blue World City are overseas Pakistanis who are highly disturbed hearing the news of operation against Blue World City. On the other side Government of Pakistan is convincing the overseas to invest in their country and send as much remittances as possible but the state of the affairs of safety of their investments can be better seen in case of Blue World City that is under the pressure of the administration to stop work.
