Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Meets Polish Counterpart and Minister of Special Services (Intelligence)
Warsaw: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi held meetings in Warsaw with his Polish counterpart Marcin Kierwiński and Minister of Special Services (Intelligence) Tomasz Siemoniak. During the meetings, discussions were held on bilateral relations, internal security, and intelligence sharing between the two countries.
Pakistan and Poland agreed to enhance institutional cooperation to curb illegal immigration. Matters relating to strengthening collaboration in border security and combating organized crime were also discussed. Both sides emphasized the need to reinforce coordination among police, paramilitary forces, and intelligence agencies.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stressed the importance of facilitating the process of legal immigration. The Polish Interior Minister appreciated the measures taken by the Government of Pakistan to prevent human smuggling.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Poland, Muhammad Sami, and DG FIA Dr. Usman Anwar were also present on the occasion.
