Peshawar : Ambassador of Tajikistan Mr. Yusuf Sharifzoda, called on Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Faisal Karim Kundi.During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the current state and future prospects of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Pakistan. They also discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in the fields of trade, tourism, transport, and energy.
Particular attention was devoted to the implementation of the CASA-1000 regional electricity transmission project. The parties underscored the strategic importance of the project for strengthening regional integration, enhancing energy security, and promoting sustainable development in the participating countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to continue constructive dialogue and to further strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation between the Province of KP and the regions of Tajikistan.
