It happens only in Pakistan that is why we call our country a unique country in the whole world. Here a Justice can open a private bank account for the court he chairs. Here a Justice can be summoned by the commission to explain why a private bank account for a court funds?
Yes! It is about Implementation Tribunal of Newspapers Employees ITNE. Its chairman is equal to the Justice of High Court. Incumbent Chairman Mr. Shahid Mehmood Khokhar has been summoned by Information Commission of Government of Pakistan. Both entities work under Ministry of Information Gov of Pakistan.
The Chairman ITNE has been summoned with all record and information of the account on 02 January. ITNE hears the cases of newspaper employees regarding their service and dues in the media houses.
Here it is worth mentioning that Ishteaq Bukhari advocate has been raising voice since long against the opening of bank account privately. He questioned many times how a private bank account can be opened and maintained for a gov or semi gov organizations.
Ministry of Information has no time to see the matters of ITNE because most of its officials are busy in demonizing PTI and its Chairman Imran Khan and in the meanwhile many including the Chairman ITNE are free to do whatever they want.
