ISLAMABAD : Sardar Waqar Shehzad, Advocate, hosted an Iftar dinner at PC Hotel, Malam Jabba, Swat, in honor of H.E Wolfgang Oliver Kutscher, Ambassador Austria and H.E Pham Anh Tuan, Ambassador Vietnam.Commissioner Malakand Division Mr. Masood Ahmad also graced the occasion with his presence.
The gathering highlighted Swat’s historic significance, opportunities for tourism and cultural exchange, and the shared commitment to strengthening people-to-people and diplomatic ties between Pakistan, Austria, and Vietnam.

The coincidence of Ramadan and Tet (Vietnamese New Year) this year beautifully reflects our shared values — renewal, hope, and family bonding. I also mentioned the heavy snowfall in Swat this season, which makes it the perfect time for winter tourism and snow sports.
Strengthening business ties, along with student exchanges and people-to-people contacts through academic scholarships were also discussed.
