Rawalpindi: – Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq visited Murree Brewery Factories in Rawalpindi on Wednesday 02 Oct and inaugurated grain storage facility having a capacity of more than 630 Metric Tons. Speaker also had a briefing on recently inaugurated solar energy project at the factories.
On arrival CEO Mr. Isphanyar Bhandara MNA received the honorable guest. Senior management officials of the factories and the company were also present to extend warm welcome to the Speaker.
Speaker was taken around the factories and was apprised about the contributions of Murree Breweries in the industrial and manufacturing sector of the country. Speaker , at this occasion spoke highly for the services of Bhandara family for Pakistan. He appreciated the role the company is playing in promotion of business, economy, sports, culture, interfaith harmony and philanthropy.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, on this occasion, while expressing his views, said “Pakistan can achieve higher business standards through new technology and improved equipment.”
About the storage facility , the Speaker noted that with the help of this vertical storage, a lot of grain can be stored in a small space, the storage technology needs to be adopted by the public and private sectors as well.
The Speaker National Assembly took keen interest in the historical pictures displayed at the office of Mr. Isphanyar that narrate different eras of development of the company as well as the political contributions of the family especially that of late Mr. Bhandara. Speaker cherished the memories of late Mr. Bhandara and paid tributes to him for his services as a parliamentarian.
This event reflects the growing interest of Pakistani businessmen to promote industry and trade in the country.
The presence of the Speaker of the National Assembly at the event highlighted the importance of government support for Pakistan’s business and industry sector. The Assembly has worked hard to create a business-friendly environment through strong legislation to increase business opportunities.
