Violators who open top luggage boxes or ignore instructions of aircraft crew may face administrative penalties.
Flight crew will now be required to remind passengers of this rule during landing. Although the Turkish Airlines website has not mentioned the fines yet, reports indicate that their implementation is coming soon.
