Rawalpindi/Pakistan-On January 14, 2019 in the Joint Staff H.Q of Pakistan, for the first time in Pakistani Armed Forces’ practice, as well as first time in history of bilateral relations, a huge celebration was held on occasion of Uzbek feast – “Day of Defenders of the Motherland” (“Day of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan”).
The event was organized by the initiative of the Military Command of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
In honor of delegation of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan, and the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan itself, a guard of honor lined up. The Uzbek delegation passed to the tunes of a military band.
Pakistani side presented a detailed video presentation on the development of Uzbek-Pakistani relations in the field of military and military-technical cooperation, as well as on modern and advanced level of training of Uzbek Armed Forces.
Moreover, within the framework of the event, in honor of the delegation of Uzbekistan’s Embassy, the Joint Staff Headquarters of the Armed Forces of Pakistan organized a reception with the participation of the officers of the Armed Forces of Pakistan.
Celebration was organized by the Pakistani side at a very high level. This event also opens new horizons in the light of further strengthening military cooperation between two Brotherly Nations.
