Rawalpindi: A team from Wah Nobel Group paid a visit to the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) to donate 100 liters of hand sanitizers as CSR and briefed the chamber about the start of production of sanitizers in conformance with WHO and PCSIR standards. President RCCI Saboor Malik, Group leader RCCI Sohail Altaf, Senior Vice President Nosherwan Khalil Khan, Vice President Muhammad Hamza Sarosh, former president Malik Shahid Saleem and a number of representatives from trade associations were also present on the occasion.
Senior General Manager Marketing Syed Azmat Hussain, speaking on the occasion,informed the participants that the initiative of Wah Nobel is a contribution to the national cause in their humble capacity to combat COVID -19.
Wah Nobel hand sanitizer is 100 percent as per WHO formulation and is approved by PCSIR against any skin irritancy, he highlighted.
He elaborated that Wah Nobel has initially started giving this sanitizer to Government sector/Army, large corporations, industries and private sector. The response is highly encouraging.
The pricing of Wah Nobel hand sanitizer is quite economical being 2/3 times cheaper than the market rate.
Senior GM Marketing further expressed that Wah Nobel is all set to produce 300-400 thousands liters a day to cater the growing demands of hand sanitizers in the national market with a focus on facilitating lower income groups to fight against Corona efficiently.
It is pertinent to mention that Wah Nobel has rich legacy since 1962 while contributing its role under the umbrella of Pakistan Ordinance Factories (POF)/ MODP. It is a joint venture between POF through Wah Industries Ltd. Saab Dynamics AB, Sweden and Almisehal Co (Saudi Arabia).
Syed Azmat Hussain, on the behalf of Wah nobel Management also invited all tiers of Chamber and trade associations to get quality hand sanitizers at economical prices with a variety of packaging options to fight the corona epidemic at all levels.
President RCCI Saboor Malik expressed gratitude to Wah Noble for its worthy donation to the business community and appreciated the launch of sanitzers in the wake of COVID-19 crisis. He commended the efforts of Wah Nobel group and asked them to further join hands with RCCI to combat with COVID-19 in public interest.
