Tukiye Embassy in Islamabad Facilitates Voters to Use Right of Opinion

Islamabad: A big number of Turkish citizens in Pakistan cast their votes in Presidential Election at the polling station set up at the Embassy of Turkiye in Islamabad on 06 May 2023. The embassy facilitated the voters to use their right of opinion in amicably established premises with complete privacy and transparency.

Ambassador Dr Mehmet Pacaci was also among the voters who cast his vote like a common voter. The polling staff checked the identity and registration of the voters in the list before handing over the ballot paper. The voters would go into a private booth to stamp the candidate of his/her choice.

Local media was invited to observe the polling. The representatives of the media took keen interest in the voting procedures and asked questions in this regard. The polling staff was performing their duty without any intervention from any side.
