Islamabad : Monitoring Desk – A Russian gas carrier, the Arctic Metagaz, was reportedly attacked by Ukrainian unmanned sea drones near Malta while carrying liquefied natural gas from Murmansk, yet all 30 crew members were rescued by Maltese and Russian services.
The ship is part of Russia’s sanctioned “shadow fleet,” raising new questions about how far the Ukraine conflict now reaches into global trade routes and EU-adjacent waters.
