Islamabad, 14 August 2026 – The leadership of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan has extended warm felicitations to the Chief Justice and Registrar of the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan (FCCP) on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
In separate letter, H.E. Mr. Farhad Abdullayev, Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, conveyed his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Hon’ble Mr. Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan, Chief Justice, Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan, on behalf of the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan and on his own behalf.
Mr. Farhad Abdullayev highlighted the deep-rooted historical ties, mutual trust and strong solidarity between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, describing these bonds as a solid foundation for the ever-growing partnership between the two countries. He expressed appreciation for the close and friendly relations between the two nations and reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthening bilateral legal cooperation and dialogue between the institutions of constitutional justice.
In another sepate letter, Mr. Anar Babayev, Secretary General of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, conveyed his sincere congratulations to Mr. Muhammad Hafeez Ullah Khan, Registrar, Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan, on the occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day.
The Secretary General underscored the historic friendship, mutual respect and strong solidarity between Azerbaijan and Pakistan and expressed his desire to further enhance bilateral legal cooperation and promote professional dialogue between the judicial administration bodies of the two Constitutional Courts.
Both messages conveyed best wishes for the continued progress, prosperity and success of Pakistan and reaffirmed the commitment of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan to further strengthening institutional and judicial cooperation with the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan.
