Prime Minister India Mr. Narendar Modi looks at Central Asia as a big power and is keen to connect new generation of his country with Central Asian region. He mentioned this in a meeting with renown film world family the Kapoors at his office.
One member of the family recalled his meeting with a Russian who asked him about the song sung by Mukesh but filmed on Raj Kapoor, ” Awaara Hoon”. He said that the Russian person shared Raj Kapoor and his song is famous in Russia.
PM Modi took it with Central Asia and said, ” Central Asia is a power. We need a new birth in this region. We should educate our new generation about this region.”
Here it is worth mentioning for the knowledge of the Russians that the song “Awaara Hoon” was copied by Raj Kapoor in his movie “Awaara” from an old Turkish movie. The music and the style of the actor was copied in Awaara movie.
Modi suggested the Kapoor family to produce a movie with Central Asia and India bonds in focus. He assured his cooperation to the family in this regard.
Indian film industry has produced many movies on Afghanistan already like Khuda Gawah and Paley Khan.
