Federal Investigation Agency of Pakistan has unearthed a gang that is working on Morocco Visas trafficking Pakistanis illegally to the North African state only to facilitate them to cross into Spain, Portugal or Italy. FIA found the clue through a passenger who was trying to fly to Morocco from Karachi Airport. The gang is active from Sheikhupura but FIA believes that it has a network in Islamabad as well.
FIA Immigration off-loaded the passenger, thwarting his attempt to go abroad.
Accused Saddam Hussain was going to Morocco on a visit visa.
During immigration, on suspicious information the passenger was handed over to General Checking Officers for further investigation. Accused Saddam Hussain revealed that the purpose of going to Morocco was to cross the illegal border to Spain and Italy.

The passenger further disclosed that he obtained the Moroccan visa by paying Rs 8 lakh in cash through an agent named Naveed, a resident of Sheikhupura.The accused was also in touch with human traffickers named Jabbar and Qari Amjad through WhatsApp.
Human smuggler Qari Amjad is involved in illegal smuggling to Europe and sending people by sea. The accused further revealed that human trafficker Qari Amjad belongs to Sheikhupura and is residing abroad.
Qari Amjad has extorted millions of rupees in the name of sending many people illegally to Europe. Arrested accused Saddam Hussain also paid 2000 Euros to Qari Amjad and agreed to pay another 13,000 Euros after reaching Spain/Italy.
The accused was handed over to Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi along with all the evidence. Through this successful operation, FIA immigration officials have uncovered a network of illegal human trafficking. Further arrests will be made on the identification of the accused.
