ISLAMABAD: Managing Director of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, Syed Tariq Mahmood Al-Hassan, visited the Iraqi Embassy in Islamabad upon a special invitation from Ambassador Hamid Abbas Lafta, where the Iraqi Ambassador warmly welcomed him.
H.E. congratulated Syed Tariq Mahmood Al-Hassan on assuming the responsibilities of Managing Director of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal. The Managing Director acknowledged the interest shown by the Iraqi Embassy in collaborating with social sectors and expressed determination to work together. He stated that both brotherly nations have always supported each other in difficult times, and many Pakistanis are rendering their services in Iraq.
Ambassador pledged to cooperate with Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal’s projects, including providing assistance to orphaned children, organizing an event at the Iraqi Consulate to honor Pakistani Sweet Homes children, inviting all ambassadors to an event, and showcasing products prepared at the Women Empowerment Centers of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal in a cultural event in Iraq, with all expenses to be borne by the Iraqi Embassy.
MD Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal expressed gratitude to the Iraqi government and the Ambassador.
