HARIPUR/ KPK – Ambassador of Nepal H.E Tapas Adhikari visited Haripur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) in Haripur and met Mr. Muhammad Tayyab Khan Swati, President and other office bearers of HCCI. He had a long interactive discussion focusing on bilateral and regional economic cooperation to expand economic opportunities in Nepal and Pakistan.
Ambassador invited them to participate in the forthcoming Nepal Expo in Kathmandu in March 2024 to explore business opportunity and for business networking. Ambassador briefed the members about business friendly policies of Government of Nepal including foreign direct investment and other facilities available there. 
Mr. Swati and other members shared the information on Haripur CCI and its economic contribution in Pakistan.
Ambassador went to Hattar Industrial Zone and observed the production facilities of few industrial units. With more than 400 manufacturing units, Hattar Industrial Zone is the biggest industrial zone in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan.
