Pakistan Indonesia to Promote Vaccine Production Together – Enhance Cooperation in Health Sector

ISLAMABAD: 26 June 2025- Indonesia and Pakistan have agreed to manufacture vaccine together and promote its production to provide better health facilities to their people. This agreement was expressed in the meeting of Indonesian Acting Ambassador Mr. Rehmat Hiniarta with Pakistani Minister of State for Health Dr. Mukhtar Bharath.

The meeting aimed to translate mutual goals into concrete health measures.
Cooperation in the health sector was discussed. Meaningful discussions were held on establishing medical institutions in Indonesia, pharmaceutical manufacturing and exchange of human resources.

Both leaders described vaccine production as a key area of ​​common interest. Dr. Mukhtar said, ” Sharing experiences in health sector with Indonesia is our priority. Pakistan is ready to work with Indonesia on long-term health projects. Pakistan views its cooperation with Indonesia as a strategic priority.”

Acting Ambassador shared keenness to explore opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation in the health sector.
