ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan visited the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China and offered condolences on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan over the killing of Chinese citizens in a terrorist attack in Bisham. They strongly condemned terrorist attack, saying that the Pakistani nation shared the grief of the Chinese people. People of Pakistan stood in solidarity with the Chinese people in this hour of grief.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif only few hours after the attack on 26 March, called on Ambassador Jiang Zaidong and conveyed sympathy from the Pakistani Nation to the bereaved families of the Chinese Citizens affected.The Prime Minister vowed to bring the culprits and their accomplices to justice, emphasizing that attempts to harm the Pakistan-China Friendship would fail.He affirmed Pakistan’s commitment to continue the fight against terrorism until its eradication.
The Ambassador thanked the Prime Minister for his visit and for personally overseeing the investigations.Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and Information Minister Atta Tarar accompanied the Prime Minister during the visit.
