A fundraising event organized by Serena Hotels in collaboration with Islamabad Foreign Women’s Association attracted a large number of guests from twin cities and left memorable impressions of diversity of cultures and cuisine that will be cherished for a long time.
IFWA and Serena Hotels host the event every year in the formate that the foreign missions hold stalls where guests can taste the dishes from their countries.
This year , on 25 May 2025 , the theme of the event was Taste the World – A sweet and savory celebration of nations.
Mrs. Neil Hawkins, the High Commissioner of Australia and CEO Serena Mr. Aziz Bolani cut the ribbon to inaugurate the event that was an expression of unity in diversity.
The stalls were held by many embassies from all regions of the world. Some of them were Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Nepal, Morocco, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Jordon, Turkmenistan, Kenya, Ethiopia, Eriteria, Poland, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Ireland, Portugal, Hungary, Britain, Argentine and many other countries.
Ambassadors and High Commissioners and their spouse and staff vehemently participated in the welfare activity.
