Islamabad; 29 Oct 2021 – Mr. Nazimbek Council of Uzbek Embassy Islamabad had a meeting with Mr. Aftab ur Rehman Rana Managing Director Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation Govt. of Pakistan.
During meeting it was decided that there is a need to promote tourism between the two brotherly countries. Mr. Aftab said Pakistan has so much potential in tourism and we would like to see Uzbek tourists in our country.
Mr. Nazimbek added that both countries can work to promote Medical tourism, Study Tourism and Shopping Tourism between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
Both sides agreed that there is a need to work together bring the brotherly countries more closer through tourism.
In this regards a Virtual meeting will be arranged between the two Tourism Ministries along with Provincial tourism departments, National Air carriers and Tour operators of both sides.
In this meeting both sides will presents its presentations about countries tourism potentials and local companies can discuss future business plans.
Mr. Aftab also added that there is need of direct air link between the countries to ease the Traveling.
Mr. Nazimbek added here that Uzbekistan Government has announced open air policies for different cities of Uzbekistan so Pakistani private airlines can also take this opportunity to operate flights to Uzbekistan.
