Faheem Sardar’s murder is still a blind murder ! State Minsiter Interior and IG Federal Police tried their best to prove it a routine dacoity attempt by two robbers but the follow up of the police officers at media channels speaks a lot about thier own dissatisfaction on the results of the press conference.
Moreover, as the police officials come on the media to further confirm and convince the viewers as they are exposed more. Cross questioning leads them to expose more things that were not shared in the “Heavy Duty” press conference in which a minister was present with half dozen high officials.
DIG Fawwad is active in this regard as he was the head of the investigating teams. He has shared some more details that raise more questions on the investigation and the statements , minister state and IG made in the press conference.
Here one thing should be in the notice of the viewers and our readers that such high officials visit media only when they want to promote their own side of story. At the media , some hosts are obedient but some ask questions that compell the officers to let something factual out.
DIG Fawwad , in a program with Talat Hussain , shared ;
1- We traced the robbers with the help of CCTV cameras footage.
2- The robbers took away cash and no other precious thing.
3- They broke into the home at night between 24-25 June 2025 at about 02 AM.
4- Faheem was living alone at that home.
5- No servant was hired by Faheem and he was alone that night.
6- One robber had criminal record but Police could not check his presence in Islamabad. Otherwise Police keep a check on the movement of such criminals.
7- The robbers tortured Faheem only to get control on him.
Very important question is where is his wife , Faezah and children? She is no where in the whole scene since the first day ! She is daughter of a priciple of a girls college in Islamabad.
On DIG Fawwad’s points,
1- Why the footage was not screened in the high profile press conference ? Earlier we raised the question that why the culprits have not been presented in the press conference? DIG says, they will be brought before media after the completion of remand. Right ! but sharing the footage was quite possible to assert on your claim that it was a robbery only.
2- IG in press conference did not share it ! instead he said, the robbers took away some things, only.
3- It means the dead body remained unnoticed for 10-1/2 hours, from 2 AM to 12 -30 PM. As in the FIR, Faheem’s uncle Zakir Habib Khan stated , his neice Eram Nadeem, Faheem’s sister, called him from Faheem’s room that Faheem is dead on his bed.
4- Living alone is very important point to rightly investigate the case ! Earlier , we in our stories raised question about it. Why he was living alone? He had differences with his wife? How Police can avoid this very central thing?
5- A very well placed person, with highly paid positions was living alone and without a servant ! Is it beleivable ?
6- Now when Police is not ready to share the ID of the record holder robber, how one can check , who is he? And how the Police failed to check his presence in Islamabad while there are check posts at all entry points.
7- Tortured to get Control ! Question to be asked is , the robbers tied Faheem’s hands and feet first or tortured him first ? As DIG shared , may be Faheem was hard to be controlled by two persons. Right ! Faheem had more than 20 wounds of sharp edged weapon on his body. If the robbers injured Faheem in such a brutal way, they did not need to tie him. Most probably, They tied him first and then tortured him.
In short , in a public way, one can state ” Story theek hay per Kahaani Samajh me nahi aai.”
Islamabad Police can not answer to another question, very big question ! If it was robbery only, why the officials were reluctant to share anything about the case for next two days when the murder became known? Why the media channels, that make very small things as breaking news , did not air any news in three days after the murder ?
If it is not a family dispute type matter , it is about our national security !
Background
Senior Policy Specialist at Strategic Planning Cell of the National Security Division of Pakistan, Mr. Faheem Sardar was brutally murdered at his home on 25 June 2025. He was living at school road of G-6/4 Sector near covered market Islamabad. He was a very expressive person and was frequently sharing his views on policy matters regarding economy and security at different high level fora in Islamabad. He was appearing on tv channels regularly as an expert.
Who killed Faheem remained a mystery because no one ready to share anything. The Police station concerned is Abpara but the situation compeled to speculate that the case is being dealt by some very high and powerful position. Faheem Sardar was found having cuts of sharp weapons but the death has been reported with head injury. His hands were tied with rope.
Astonishingly, no media outlet reported this high profile murder at the victim’s home while the tv channels are always seeking the breaking news.
