Mari Petroleum’s Helicopter Crashed in North Waziristan – 2 Russians 1 Belarusian Pilot among 6 Dead

    ISLAMABAD: Monitoring Desk – A chartered Mi 8 helicopter of Mari Petroleum Company  crashed in Shewa North Waziristan due to a technical fault while taking off near an oil field. 6 people died, 8 were injured, 14 passengers including 2 Russian, a second pilots and a mechanic 1 Belarusian First Pilot and crew were on board the helicopter.
    Mi-8 helicopter had an accident due to engine failure, the helicopter was providing personnel transportation in Shiva Waziristan Block, the injured persons were shifted to a nearby hospital.
